The therapist will join Amae Health’s soon-to-open Boston clinic, operated by Massachusetts General Hospital, as part of an interdisciplinary team providing specialty outpatient care for people with severe mental illness. The therapist provides individualized, evidence-based care and ongoing support to patients with complex needs. The role contributes to coordinated, longitudinal care by collaborating with behavioral health and other patient-care professionals and supporting program development.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group therapy to patients with severe mental illness
• offer regular support in person and occasionally virtually
• deliver evidence-based care in a holistic model
• collaborate with patient-care teams and behavioral health providers
• address medical needs related to social determinants of health
• consult with treatment-team therapists and trainees and assist with program development.
