General Laborer

Job overview

The General Laborer role is onsite in Joliet, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $19.15 per hour. The assignment is temporary-to-hire at a customer that manufactures industrial cleaning and sanitizing chemicals; The Reserves Network is the career partner. The laborer moves and sorts materials, supports loading and unloading, and assembles product containers and crates. The work helps move materials between storage, production, docks, and vehicles to support the customer’s operations.

What you'll do

• Move freight, stock, and materials between storage and production areas, docks, vehicles, ships, and containers
• sort cargo before loading and unloading
• assemble product containers and crates
• follow work orders or oral instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
