Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Overnight Residential Support

Job overview

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) works onsite in Stroudsburg, PA, in a licensed community residential facility. The schedule is Wednesday–Thursday, 10:30 PM–9:30 AM, and Friday–Saturday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, totaling 38 hours per week. Pay is $16 per hour. Fitzmaurice Community Services supports adults with behavioral health and intellectual disabilities. The DSP provides individualized personal care and daily living support while promoting independence, dignity, and community participation. The role also supports individualized programs through documentation, communication, medication administration, and health and safety practices.

What you'll do

• Provide individual support and personal care
• teach daily living and behavior management skills
• engage clients in structured activities
• complete daily logs, progress notes, attendance records, and monthly reports
• communicate and plan for individualized program implementation
• administer medications
• use least intrusive intervention methods
• encourage community integration
• maintain client confidentiality and health and safety standards.
