What you'll do

• Operate machines to break down railcar wheelsets, recondition axles, mount new wheels, recondition wheelsets, move material, and press new bearings. Use measuring devices such as gauges and calipers
• read micrometers and work to tight tolerances
• operate overhead cranes
• follow work procedures and safety regulations
• maintain accurate documentation and production reports. Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends to meet business demands.
