The Corporate Associate, Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) position is hybrid, with approximately three days per week in the San Francisco, CA office. Compensation is $235,000–$310,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus. The role supports a nationally recognized ECVC practice advising companies and investors across multiple sectors. The associate advises emerging companies, founders, venture capital funds, growth-stage businesses, and institutional investors through corporate transactions across the business lifecycle. The work contributes to client goals through transaction execution, corporate governance advice, due diligence, and practical legal counsel.

What you'll do

• Represent emerging growth companies, founders, venture-backed businesses, funds, and institutional investors
• draft, review, and negotiate financing, M&A, securities, private equity, and general corporate documents
• advise on formation, governance, capitalization, equity compensation, and compliance
• conduct due diligence
• support financing rounds, investments, acquisitions, and exits
• collaborate across legal practice areas
• communicate with clients and transaction stakeholders
• manage multiple matters.
