Clinical Research Coordinator

The Clinical Research Coordinator role is onsite in Lakeland, FL, with compensation of $26–$30 per hour. Alcanza is a multi-site clinical research company conducting Phase I–IV studies across several therapeutic areas. The coordinator works with the clinical research site team to execute assigned studies in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and standard operating procedures. The role supports participant visits, accurate study records, and timely handling of study data and safety reporting.

What you'll do

• Screen patients for study enrollment
• obtain patient consents and conduct follow-up visits
• document in source charts and enter data in EDC
• obtain vital signs and ECGs
• perform basic lab procedures when required by protocol
• request and track medical records
• maintain logs and study supplies
• schedule study visits and reminders
• conduct monitoring visits and resolve issues
• ensure reports and results are reviewed by the investigator
• file SAE and deviation reports as needed
• document and report adverse events
• support study start-up and site initiation activities
• maintain confidentiality.

Why this role

Requires a medical assistant diploma, LPN/LVN, EMT credential, or associate degree and at least one year of clinical research or clinical experience, or an equivalent combination. Basic clinical procedure proficiency is highly preferred; English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
