Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician

Job overview

The Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, with compensation of $24–$38 per hour. Budderfly works to reduce carbon emissions by installing, monitoring, and managing energy-saving technologies for business customers. The technician maintains and repairs Budderfly HVAC/R units and completes commissioning checks so equipment continues to operate efficiently. The role supports the company’s high-efficiency HVAC replacement program through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and customer service.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems and equipment
• identify maintenance risks and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• complete commissioning checks and correct controller configurations
• change filters, clean coils, inspect or replace belts, and check for mechanical failures
• perform warranty and emergency repairs
• maintain work-order logs
• comply with safety and regulatory standards
• assist customers with queries.
