Outreach Specialist — Women’s Shelter

The Outreach Specialist — Women’s Shelter role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, based in the Women’s Day Center at the Emergency Shelter. Compensation is $18–$21.50 per hour. The position supports Light of Life Rescue Mission’s work with homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. The specialist addresses guests’ immediate needs and supports longer-term planning, building trust and relationships that can help women move from street homelessness toward the mission’s recovery program. The role coordinates with volunteers, staff, and community social-service partners.

What you'll do

• Establish service plans and manage cases for transient homeless guests

Why this role
