The Security Officer – Overnight Residential Community Entry Gate role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. The schedule includes Tuesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Thursday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $16 per hour. The officer supports a residential community and Allied Universal’s security and facility services work. The role helps maintain a welcoming and secure environment by managing access, monitoring entry points, conducting patrols, and responding professionally to concerns and incidents. Clear communication and accurate records support residents, visitors, site management, and the security team.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel
• follow access-control procedures
• monitor entry and exit points and verify authorization
• maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle records
• respond to access-related incidents and resident concerns
• conduct routine and random patrols
• communicate incidents and access or maintenance issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Why this role

Customer service, computer or tablet use, access-control experience, guard card or license, and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; age requirements are 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
