What you'll do

• Design, build, modify, and repair parts, fixtures, and tooling
• produce job-specific gages and loading fixtures
• interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications
• determine materials and machines needed
• operate tool room equipment safely
• prepare purchase requisitions and recommend outside fabrication when needed
• assist machinists as needed.
