The Junior Rocket Propulsion Engineer role is onsite in Indian Head, MD; compensation is $86,001–$101,000 per year. The engineer works in ATR's Engineering Services Division at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, supporting U.S. Navy warfare technology programs in the Surface Systems Branch. The entry-level engineer supports rocket motor and energetic-component in-service and production engineering, including fleet failure investigations, testing and analysis, and technical-data configuration management.

What you'll do

• Support rocket motor and energetic-component in-service and production engineering
• contribute to fleet failure investigations, explosive testing and analysis, and configuration management of technical data
• prepare analysis and weekly reports
• track and manage projects
• work with engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
