What you'll do

• Interview patients or authorized representatives and enter demographic, clinical, and insurance information into the electronic medical record
• schedule appointments and explain procedures and instructions
• document patient and provider contact, orders, insurance verification, financial education, and payments
• explain legal forms and obtain signatures
• verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements
• educate patients about coverage and financial assistance
• collect identified patient liabilities and complete payment and deposit reconciliation
• answer and route calls as assigned
• follow healthcare privacy, compliance, and safety requirements.

Why this role
