Local Business Development Manager

The Local Business Development Manager role is onsite in Mountain View, CA. The annual base salary range is $105,000–$165,000 USD. NewsBreak is building a repeatable partnership pipeline to expand local advertising and improve local ad density while fitting the user experience. The manager acquires local advertising budgets through one-to-many partnerships and owns the partnership lifecycle from prospecting and negotiation through onboarding. The role works with Product, Account Management, and Marketing to support and retain partnerships, while tracking deals and resulting local ad-spend and ad-density metrics.

What you'll do

• Acquire local ad budgets through partner networks, marketplaces, and referral or affiliate-style deals
• prospect, pitch, negotiate, and onboard partners
• serve as direct business development presence in the local and home-services category
• partner with Product, Account Management, and Marketing on post-launch support and retention
• track partnership pipeline, signed deals, local ad spend, and ad-density metrics.
