Retail Sales Associate

Job overview

The Retail Sales Associate role is onsite in Meridian, ID, with 30–40 hours per week and availability across 5:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. as needed; weekends and holidays are required. Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour. The role supports US Foods’ CHEF’STORE retail operations and customer experience. The associate helps customers find products and completes sales and cash transactions while maintaining stocked, orderly merchandise and a clean, safe store. The role also supports inventory, receiving, price changes, and opening or closing duties.

What you'll do

• Assist customers and support sales
• process point-of-sale transactions and cash functions
• verify receipts
• receive and stock inventory and rotate products using FIFO
• label merchandise and assist with price changes
• participate in inventory counts
• maintain store cleanliness and safety
• assist with opening and closing duties.
