Engineering Project Director

The Engineering Project Director role may be based in Green Bay, WI, at any of Foth’s 33 locations, or fully remote within the United States. Annual compensation is $155,000–$200,000. Foth is a member-owned science and engineering consulting firm that works on clients’ science and engineering challenges. The director leads complex, multidisciplinary capital projects and programs for major Food and Beverage and Paper and Converting clients. The role provides senior client leadership, guides project teams and controls, and supports safe, high-quality delivery while strengthening long-term client relationships.

What you'll do

• Serve as senior client interface for major capital programs
• lead scope definition, execution strategy, proposal support, and relationship management
• lead complex multidisciplinary capital projects from concept through start-up
• oversee internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• guide staffing and mentor project managers and engineers
• manage scope, risk, document control, schedule, cost, and project software
• direct procurement and contracting strategies
• partner with construction management on installation, commissioning, and start-up
• champion project and site safety
• drive continuous improvement
• support business development
• travel approximately 25–35%.
