Senior Manager, Employee Relations

The Senior Manager, Employee Relations role is onsite in San Mateo, CA, with an annual base salary range of $203,490–$251,370, plus eligibility for bonus compensation. The role is part of Freshworks’ global Employee Relations leadership team and supports the People team’s work to improve employee and customer experiences through software. The manager co-creates employee relations strategy and leads the day-to-day agenda across the United States and Europe. Through case management, investigations, coaching, compliance, and data-informed improvements, the role helps build a high-trust, high-performance workplace and consistent employee relations practices.

What you'll do

• Co-create ER strategy with global leadership
• own the day-to-day ER agenda for Europe and the United States
• manage complex cases and coach managers and HR Business Partners
• build People organization capability in conflict resolution, mediation, restorative justice, and bias-aware decisions
• advise on performance concerns, involuntary exits, and organizational changes
• support employment policy and legal compliance
• partner with HR, Legal, Talent Development, and Total Rewards
• drive case management, metrics, and continuous improvement
• work with Legal on European works councils, trade unions, and consultation requirements.
