Landscaper and Groundskeeper

The Landscaper and Groundskeeper role is onsite in Spartanburg, SC, with compensation of $15–$18 per hour. The role maintains and improves property grounds, supervises landscape projects and the groundskeeping inmate program, and coordinates work with maintenance. Its work helps keep housing properties maintained and supports the organization’s housing services.

What you'll do

• Supervise installation and modification of landscape projects
• direct and supervise the Prison Inmate Program groundskeeping work
• coordinate work orders with maintenance
• prune bushes, rake leaves, cut grass, mulch properties, and remove trash
• determine and inspect required equipment and materials.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m.–11 a.m. Requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of landscaping trade experience, one year of leadership or supervisory experience, and a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
