What you'll do
- Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences at local healthcare settings
- connect real-world nursing practice to course learning
- coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence
- observe performance and provide feedback and evaluation
- identify opportunities for additional support and assist with coaching and remediation
- collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff
- maintain current nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into teaching. Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation.

Why this role
Typically 1–2 clinical shifts per week during the academic term. Requires a current, unencumbered Colorado RN license, a master’s degree in nursing, and 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience. Previous teaching experience is preferred, not required.
