Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Admissions

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Admissions role is onsite in Sarasota, FL. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive patient and family assessments
• provide nursing care using the nursing process
• initiate and revise plans of care
• develop palliative nursing goals with patients and families
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• counsel and teach patients and caregivers
• maintain clinical notes and communicate changes to physicians
• coordinate care with community health professionals and the interdisciplinary group
• arrange necessary equipment and services
• participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
