What you'll do
- Support veterinarians during wellness visits, sick appointments, procedures, and surgeries
- collect samples and perform in-house laboratory testing
- take diagnostic radiographs
- administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments
- prepare surgical patients and assist with recovery and monitoring
- communicate patient changes
- maintain accurate records
- educate clients about medications, nutrition, follow-up care, and treatment plans
- safely handle patients
- maintain clean treatment areas and equipment.
