What you'll do
- Assemble and scan patient visit documentation
- greet and escort patients and families
- prepare patients for examinations
- obtain and document vital signs
- update visit reasons, medications, allergies, pharmacy, and preventive or chronic care services
- perform standing orders and screening tests
- assist with or document procedures
- initiate school and sports physical forms
- follow up on missed appointments
- provide patient and family education
- coordinate referrals
- follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
