What you'll do

• Prepare, season, and cook food for hotel restaurant outlets, pastry kitchen, or banquet kitchen
• follow recipes and chef direction
• plate dishes consistently
• evaluate product quality
• report substandard products
• maintain service timing
• store and handle food and equipment properly
• keep work areas clean and sanitized
• monitor hot- and cold-holding temperatures
• maintain production records and support kitchen operations.
