Skilled Construction Laborer

The Skilled Construction Laborer role is an onsite position based in Columbus, IN. This role exists to assist superintendents, foremen, and skilled tradespeople in the safe and efficient execution of construction tasks. The laborer contributes to project success by performing a variety of site duties, including material handling, site cleanup, and assisting with structural assembly.

What you'll do

• Assist Superintendent, Foreman, Carpenters, or other tradespeople on-site.
• Clean up the worksites from debris and machinery.
• Handle and transport materials, i.e., cement.
• Handle power tools and materials, i.e., such as saws and drills.
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures, i.e., scaffolding.
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Builds forms or structures using bricks, concrete and stone, and the repair of same.
