The Cook plans and prepares meals and snacks that account for patient dietary needs, provides supplemental nourishment, and maintains a clean, orderly kitchen and serving area to support patient care.

What you'll do

• Plan and sequence food preparation and cooking
• consider dietary restrictions and requirements
• prepare meals, desserts, and salad bar items
• provide supplemental nourishment and patient snacks
• review menus and prepare ingredients for upcoming meals
• clean and organize the kitchen and serving area
• assist other cooks as needed.
