What you'll do

• Operate heavy equipment, including motor graders, excavators, track dozers, water trucks, haul trucks, backhoes, telehandlers, and skid steers
• build and maintain site roads
• support site construction and small earthwork projects
• understand work-area changes and hazards
• use practices that reduce equipment component damage and wear
• may perform minor maintenance
• and help train new operators with the training department. The role may require shifts up to 12 hours.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of mining industry experience, and three years operating heavy machinery on road-building, drill-pad, or earthwork projects. Caterpillar certification ability is required; current MSHA, Caterpillar certifications, and Class A or B CDL with N endorsement are preferred.
