Content Marketing Intern

The Content Marketing Intern role is based at Hickory Farms’ preferred Chicago office, with flexible work hours based on student availability. Compensation is $26 per hour for 10–20 hours per week. Hickory Farms sells specialty food gifts and charcuterie products through online, catalog, retail, and seasonal channels. The intern creates short-form social content and supports paid and organic social strategy, creator coordination, trend monitoring, and performance reporting. The work contributes creative assets and insights to marketing campaigns and paid media efforts.

What you'll do

• Create short-form video from concept through filming, editing, voiceover, and captioning
• edit footage into organic and paid variations
• support social strategy, ideation, and A/B testing
• write platform-specific captions
• collaborate on campaign briefs, shoots, and brainstorms
• source and vet creators
• draft creator briefs and help manage relationships, timelines, and delivery
• monitor platform trends and content metrics and share insights.
