Job overview

The Director, Digital Platforms role is based in Charlotte, NC, with a weekly hybrid schedule. The base pay range is $125,000–$190,000 per year, and the position is eligible for an annual incentive plan. The role leads shared platforms powering Ally’s mobile and online banking experiences. The director sets platform strategy and priorities, oversees platform health and release governance, and leads product owners responsible for improving processes and delivering digital capabilities. The work supports reliable, scalable customer experiences across channels and advances operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Own platform strategy, performance, and evolution, including platform health, release governance, app store management, and shared digital capabilities.
• Lead product owners and drive roadmap execution, platform investments, and process improvements.
• Define business requirements, review system requirements, establish analytics requirements, and support user acceptance testing for projects and releases.
• Measure product performance, champion customer experience, and work with UX, technology, and business partners.
• Manage costs and, where applicable, vendor relationships.
