Automotive Service Technician

Job overview

The Automotive Service Technician role is an onsite position in Mobile, AL. Pay is $25 per hour. The technician will support J. Allen Mazda as it prepares to open a new facility and expand its service team. This role diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicles to manufacturer standards while helping the dealership deliver quality, efficient service. The technician also documents work, communicates repair needs, maintains a safe work area, and may support less experienced technicians.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair vehicles
• perform advanced diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures
• follow manufacturer standards and dealership processes
• communicate vehicle needs and repair recommendations to service advisors and leadership
• document work
• stay current on technical training and manufacturer updates
• maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment
• support and mentor less experienced technicians when needed.
