What you'll do

• Perform quantity take-offs and develop conceptual, preliminary, and contract estimates
• review design documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
• coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, vendors, and subcontractors
• solicit bids and maintain partner relationships
• prepare proposals, scopes of work, technical specifications, and value-engineering alternatives
• attend planning, kickoff, sales, and turnover meetings
• track project status and design-document completion
• identify cost and design risks and mitigation strategies
• maintain historical cost data
• stay current with codes, regulations, and construction approaches.
