What you'll do

• Confirm patient identity
• position patients and equipment and apply technical factors to produce CT images according to clinical protocols
• complete risk assessments for invasive procedures
• administer or monitor contrast materials
• use aseptic technique
• follow radiation protection and safety guidelines
• use the Radiology Information System
• review and revise procedures, protocols, and patient preparations
• assist with data collection and regulatory compliance
• provide practical instruction to students.
