What you'll do

• Coordinate menus and train kitchen workers
• prepare, cook, and serve meals
• manage food and supply inventory and ordering
• maintain food safety and sanitation
• prepare meals, desserts, and snacks according to menus and special diets
• document food storage and holding temperatures
• estimate supplies and portions
• work with the Registered Dietitian on residents’ dietary needs.
