The Traveling K-12 Registered Dietitian role is onsite across school locations supported by AVI Foodsystems’ School Services Division; the listing location is Cleveland, OH. The role supports public and private school dining programs through nutrition leadership, regulatory guidance, menu development, and operational support. The dietitian helps school accounts deliver nutritious and appealing meals that meet student and community needs. Nutrition assessment, counseling, education, menu and regulatory expertise, and collaboration with food-service teams support effective school nutrition programs.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and document individualized nutrition intervention plans
• provide follow-up and documentation
• assess age-specific, cultural, religious, and ethnic needs
• evaluate nutrition therapy outcomes and adjust care as indicated
• work with food-service teams to meet diet prescriptions
• assess educational needs and provide nutrition counseling
• participate in community projects and education as assigned
• conduct in-services and presentations
• maintain clinical activity records, including rescheduling and billing.
