CNC Programmer

Job overview

What you'll do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain programs for multi-axis machining centers
• determine tooling strategies, cutting parameters, and workholding solutions
• perform program proof-outs, first-article inspections, and process validation
• support cycle-time, setup, and cost improvements
• collaborate with Technical Planning, Quality, and Production
• maintain manufacturing documentation, setup sheets, work instructions, and tooling lists
• support MRB, corrective actions, and root-cause investigations
• apply GD&T requirements
• create SolidWorks models from aircraft drawings
• establish manufacturing processes and allowances for special processing or future assembly.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of CNC programming and manufacturing engineering experience in precision machining. Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining, aerospace drawings, and CAM software is specified; NX is preferred.
