Coverage Attorney

What you'll do

• Oversee coverage litigation and analyze coverage issues and exposure
• evaluate claims handling and underwriting practices
• work with outside counsel on pleadings and motions
• review and respond to subpoenas and state insurance department complaints
• participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials, with travel as needed
• prepare coverage position papers
• communicate with agents, brokers, and attorneys
• advise senior management on practices and legal developments.
