The Nuclear NDT Level II Field Specialist role is based onsite at the Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, with field assignments at customer sites and travel during outage seasons. Compensation is $85,200–$106,500 per year. The role reports to the Manager of NDE Programs and supports nuclear and non-nuclear inspection work. The specialist performs and evaluates non-destructive examinations, prepares procedures and examination plans, and helps coordinate safe, efficient field work. The role contributes to quality-driven customer service through accurate interpretation of standards, documentation, team coordination, and continued development of inspection methods.

What you'll do

• Perform non-destructive examinations under written procedures and evaluate results against applicable standards
• coordinate site activities during customer outages and provide status reports
• interpret codes and standards
• develop and refine inspection approaches
• prepare procedures and examination plans
• lead small teams and mentor trainees and Level I/II personnel
• operate and troubleshoot field service equipment
• maintain quality documentation
• travel as needed.
