What you'll do

• Administer Pennsylvania on-lot sewage permitting programs for municipal clients
• conduct site evaluations and soil probes and witness percolation testing
• review, approve, deny, or revoke permit applications under Act 537 and Pennsylvania DEP regulations
• inspect sewage system installations and repairs
• enforce sewage regulations
• maintain field notes, logs, permits, correspondence, and records
• advise property owners, developers, installers, and municipal officials
• collaborate with municipal leadership, engineers, health departments, and agencies
• prepare reports and attend hearings or court proceedings as required
• maintain certification through continuing education.
