Senior Life Support Systems Technician

Job overview

The Senior Life Support Systems Technician role is an onsite, full-time position in Layton, UT. Pay is $22–$24 per hour. The role supports a facility caring for aquatic and terrestrial animals. The technician oversees life support system operations and maintenance, leads animal keepers, and coordinates with other departments to keep exhibits and enclosures safe and functioning. What you'll do

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of filtration, water-quality, plumbing, mechanical, temperature, and humidity systems
• conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
• audit SOP compliance
• coordinate repairs and upgrades
• supervise, train, and evaluate animal keepers
• collaborate on exhibit planning and upgrades.
