Pharmacist

The Pharmacist role is in person in Hines, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is $66.80 per hour. The position supports a long-term program serving the Veterans Affairs. The pharmacist provides medication-related services across outpatient and inpatient pharmacy settings, helping ensure medication orders and therapy are appropriate, safe, and effective. The role also supports medication distribution, clinical collaboration, and pharmacy program operations.

What you'll do

• Review, interpret, and verify medication orders
• process and fill prescriptions
• consult with clinical staff on medication therapy
• review patient records for medication-related problems
• contact providers and document recommendations
• provide refill extensions and partial supplies
• take medication histories and reconcile medications
• provide drug information
• assist with formulary management and medication-use evaluations
• assess adverse drug events
• oversee technical staff in medication distribution.
