What you'll do

• Perform ultrasound procedures ordered by physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants
• obtain diagnostic sonographic images using clinic protocols and equipment
• instruct patients on procedure requirements
• send exams to radiologists for interpretation
• assist with patient transfers
• obtain relevant information from patients, records, and prior scans
• correlate pathological findings with sonogram results.
