Client Services Monitor

Job overview

The Client Services Monitor role is onsite in Bakersfield, CA, and pays $21.50 per hour. Hope the Mission works to prevent, reduce, and eliminate poverty, hunger, and homelessness through immediate assistance and long-term solutions. This role helps keep participants safe and supports daily operations at an Interim Housing program. The monitor contributes to a safe, structured, and respectful environment through participant support, facility upkeep, safety monitoring, and accurate documentation.

What you'll do

• Maintain clean and stocked facility areas
• conduct participant wellness checks, site walk-throughs, and safety checks
• respond to incidents using trauma-informed de-escalation
• assist participants with requests, intake, orientation, hygiene supplies, and meal service
• complete activity reports and applicable HMIS notes
• communicate shift updates and report concerns to site leadership.
