Construction Manager — Heavy Civil and Concrete Paving

The Construction Manager — Heavy Civil and Concrete Paving role is onsite, based in Aberdeen, SD, with extensive regional travel to active project sites, up to 90% during active construction periods. Compensation is $80,000–$120,000+ per year, depending on experience. Reede Construction is a family-owned heavy civil contractor delivering transportation and infrastructure projects. The manager leads field and project operations for highway, transportation, concrete, paving, and other heavy civil work. The role coordinates crews, schedules, costs, quality, safety, and project documentation to support successful delivery and strengthen the company’s project systems.

What you'll do

• Lead daily field and project operations and maintain a field presence with crews, foremen, subcontractors, and project personnel. Manage schedules, labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, logistics, costs, production goals, and KPIs. Apply DOT, FAA, AASHTO, and project-specific quality requirements
• coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, agencies, and company leadership. Resolve project issues, support contract administration and closeout, participate in planning and forecasting, mentor field leaders, and support estimating and process improvements.
