What you'll do

• Assess counseling needs using evidence-based tools
• diagnose substance use and co-occurring disorders using DSM-5 criteria
• determine level of care using ASAM criteria
• develop and revise individualized treatment plans
• provide individual and group counseling
• plan discharge and transfers
• coordinate with referral sources and departments
• document clinical services
• participate in team meetings
• respond appropriately to psychiatric crises
• follow agency policies and mandatory reporting requirements.
