What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• install and repair heavy industrial machinery
• disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble equipment
• perform precision repairs, component replacement, alignment, fitting, and assembly
• respond to breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance
• weld and fabricate
• troubleshoot furnaces and controls
• inspect cranes, hoists, chains, and lifting equipment
• read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders
• document repairs and follow safety procedures.
