The Senior Transportation Construction Inspector (VRE Experience) role is onsite in Herndon, VA, and pays $25.00–$51.75 per hour. ATCS’s Construction Services group is expanding in Virginia. The inspector supports transportation construction projects by checking field work, materials, safety, and contract compliance, and by documenting progress and pay quantities for the Project Engineer.

What you'll do

• Inspect highway, bridge, environmental, traffic, and facilities projects
• write daily progress reports
• oversee contractor work for contract compliance and safe, quality construction
• conduct field tests on concrete, soil, and hot-mix asphalt
• document materials, labor compliance, safety, estimates, work orders, and adjustments
• report site activity and determine pay quantities.
