The Industrial Maintenance Technician — Day Shift role is onsite in Carter Lake, IA. Compensation is $27–$35 per hour, with a $3,000 hiring and retention bonus paid over the first year. The role supports PVS Metals’ Carter Lake facility and its metalworking operation. The technician maintains production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running. Preventive and predictive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, repairs, and collaboration with production help reduce downtime and support safe, reliable equipment use.

What you'll do

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules
• diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
• maintain laser cutting machines, press brakes, overhead cranes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and facility systems
• collaborate with production management to minimize downtime
• contribute to capital improvement projects
• support and train operators on safe equipment use
• perform work in line with ISO standards.
