The Milieu Supervisor, 1st Shift role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with a full-time schedule of 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday. Pay starts at $50,000–$55,000 annually. The role supports Nexus Family Healing’s 13-bed youth crisis and stabilization center in Hennepin County, serving youth with complex mental and behavioral health needs. The supervisor provides trauma-informed leadership for daily program and unit operations, mentors staff, and helps ensure youth receive safe, coordinated treatment and family-inclusive support. The role contributes to the center’s work of providing short-term care, assessment, and transition planning for youth and families.

What you'll do

• Assist with developing program procedures and systems for safe and effective treatment services
• participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and interventions
• identify program problems and risks and develop solutions
• ensure safe, welcoming admissions
• assist with planning and scheduling trauma-informed treatment services
• monitor service delivery and follow-through, including family inclusion and communication
• track youth daily needs
• interview and hire youth care professionals
• coach, train, and mentor staff
• prepare staff schedules and approve timecards
• ensure staff interact with clients in a calm, therapeutic, trauma-informed manner
• coordinate shift documentation
• provide direct floor coverage during staff absences, emergencies, and on-call coverage as needed.
