Mechanical Flushing Superintendent

The Mechanical Flushing Superintendent role is onsite in Abilene, TX. Pay is $35–$40 per hour. The role leads field operations for mechanical flushing, temporary pumping, filtration, water treatment, hydrostatic testing, and commissioning support projects.

What you'll do

• Supervise daily flushing and commissioning-support operations
• lead field crews, foremen, operators, and subcontractors
• plan flushing of hydronic and process piping systems
• review drawings, specifications, and procedures
• establish flushing sequences and zones
• coordinate pumps, hoses, filtration, tanks, meters, and water treatment
• monitor flow, pressure, and filtration
• coordinate filling, flushing, draining, cleaning, testing, and turnover
• manage water supply and wastewater handling
• conduct safety meetings and pre-task planning
• coordinate with contractors and commissioning teams
• identify field conflicts and schedule impacts
• and maintain project records.
