The Wound Care Physician role is onsite at assigned wound care clinics in Los Angeles, CA, with weekly weekday rounds, typically 8:00 AM–12:00 PM or 1:00 PM–5:00 PM. The posting offers part-time work for 2–3 days per week or full-time work for 4–5 days per week, with no evenings, weekends, or call. Projected annual earnings are $200,000–$215,000 for full-time physicians. AmeriWound’s affiliated providers assess, diagnose, treat, monitor, and help heal patient wounds. The physician evaluates and treats patients with wounds, performs procedures such as debridement when needed, documents encounters, and coordinates care with facility clinical staff. The role contributes to wound healing and continuity of care across assigned clinics.

What you'll do

• Round weekly at assigned wound care clinics
• diagnose patient conditions through physical examination and/or telemedicine
• perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary
• collaborate with facility clinical staff on findings and treatment
• explain diagnoses and treatment goals to patients
• document encounters in the Aprima EMR
• facilitate referrals as needed.
