What you'll do

• Provide advanced life support according to established medical protocols
• respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
• assess patients and communicate clinical signs and symptoms to receiving facilities
• complete patient and run documentation
• maintain a clean, safe, and stocked ambulance
• follow dispatch communications protocols
• perform advanced procedures including IVs and intubations as authorized by protocol
• drive the ambulance
• follow infection-control and patient-handling practices
• attend required training and meetings
• while on call, respond to the assigned station within the required time.
