Production Operator C

Job overview

The Production Operator C role is onsite in Coushatta, LA, and pays $24.00 per hour. Operators work rotating 12-hour shifts at the Red River Activated Carbon Plant. The operator supports safe, compliant, and reliable plant operations across loadout, material handling, production equipment, and environmental systems, with assignments based on qualifications and plant needs. Accurate rounds, equipment monitoring, and shift communication help maintain product quality and operational continuity.

What you'll do

• Follow safety, PPE, environmental, LOTO, and confined-space procedures
• maintain housekeeping and complete environmental rounds
• inspect and operate coal and product unloading systems
• coordinate deliveries and inspect bulk trailers
• operate material-handling equipment
• document loadout and shipping
• monitor production and finishing equipment and report anomalies
• support process adjustments and preventive maintenance
• monitor environmental controls and utilities
• maintain operational logs and shift handovers
• collaborate with operations, maintenance, environmental, logistics, and leadership teams.
